Manhood University is a new program presented by Mayor Strickland that is set to start on March 10, 2018. This six week program aims to inspire men to build up their communities, find jobs, and create stronger relationships. Classes will only be held on Saturdays. The City of Memphis is offering FREE summer camp at 24 summer camps this summer. Registration begins April 7th at the community centers and children must be a resident of Memphis. If you have any kids that are interested in becoming a DJ there is a DJ camp being held this summer. "Camp DJ Memphis" is currently open for registration and accepting applications for their June camp. Only 16-18 kids will be selected, camp will be June 4th-8th, and the camp is for children ages 10-16. This camp will give the kids the opportunity to be mentored and coached by DJ legends such as Devin Steel, Big Sue, Mic Tee, and DJ Xclusive.
